Every single day, numerous dogs are quietly suffering as a result of the cruelty of humans. Their cries for assistance are not heard, and their requests for sympathy are not answered. Among them was Anastasia, a kind and kind girl who had to go through unfathomable suffering. She was discovered in an unknown area, with her nose bleeding excessively and her mouth swelled to the point that it was on the verge of exploding. She had been kicked in the face and left in a box on purpose to die. Due to the vicious assault, she suffered damage to one of her eyes and had her snout twisted.

At the time when Anastasia arrived at the clinic, she was having difficulty breathing and so need oxygen in order to continue living. We exerted a great deal of effort in order to stabilize her before carrying out the essential tests, which included x-rays of the chest and skull, ultrasounds, and blood testing. In the end, the outcomes were catastrophic. Her stomach was full with stones, which was strong evidence that she had ingested them out of desperation due to the severe hunger that she was experiencing. Unfortunately, her jaw was not fractured as a result of the kick. Due to the fact that the stones may potentially induce a blockage or even perforate her intestines, we had to keep a constant eye on her. Because she was frail and weak, she was not prepared for surgery. Instead, I made an effort to induce vomiting in the hopes of alleviating some of the pressure surrounding me. An additional ultrasound showed that the majority of the stones had been removed; nevertheless, there were still a few large things that were stuck in her gut, which required an endoscopic treatment to be performed. Thank goodness, everything went off without a hitch, and we were able to successfully remove the foreign things.

After that, Anastasia started consuming a meal that was specifically designed to heal her, although her recuperation was not yet complete. Anemia and dangerously low albumin levels were discovered through blood testing, which hindered her capacity to recover from her illness. Every day was a struggle for her because of the complications that a severe infection brought about, which further exacerbated her situation. Slowly, however, indications of progress began to surface. In the course of her rehabilitation, Anastasia achieved a tiny but crucial milestone by gaining one kilogram. As time went on, her strength gradually returned, and after twenty trying days, she was finally able to leave the hospital because she was stable enough to do so. I brought her back to my house, prepared to provide her with a nurturing environment.

Not long after that, a compassionate woman reached out to her, anxious to adopt her. Anastasia flourished after she moved into her new residence. Almost immediately, she became the best of friends with the woman's second dog, with whom she played and frolicked. The joy of their friendship was a striking contrast to the agony she had experienced in the past. Anastasia, however, continued to thrive despite the fact that her previous owner and others like him continued to be free to continue their cycle of cruelty without facing any consequences. Despite the fact that the journey of one dog ended in happiness, the fight against such cruelty continues, underscoring the critical need for compassion and reform.
