Bun Bun started to recover, both physically and mentally, as a result of all the love and laughter that she experienced. She was a ray of light, illuminating the glimmer of hope that even in the most difficult times of our lives, there is joy to be discovered. I knew that Bun Bun's journey was only getting started, and that with the help of her newly discovered friends, she would be able to receive the love and comfort that she so well deserved. This realization came to me as we were wrapping up our visit.
