We were immediately taken by Havena's kind and kind personality. In spite of her condition, she maintained her composure and was kind to everyone she came in contact with. The doctors were taken aback by her condition when we brought her to the veterinarian as we brought her there. Demodectic mange, widespread baldness, painful fissures around her head and ears, and ticks crawling on her fur were among symptoms that she experienced. Our hearts were broken when we saw her in such a state of hopelessness. How was it possible for anyone to overlook her for such a long time? Over the course of several months, Havena had been subjected to both physical and emotional neglect while she waited in vain for the family that she had once loved. However, from that point forward, we made a commitment to provide her with all of the care that she so sorely required, including the therapy, the drugs, and the love that she had been denied. Regrettably, the results of her laboratory tests indicated that she had a positive diagnosis of canine distemper, a condition that has the potential to be lethal. In order to recover her skin, we quickly scheduled her for ozone therapy sessions. Additionally, we arranged for her to undergo X-rays and CT scans in order to check her overall health.
