Edgardo has been diagnosed with Ehrlichia, heartworm, and ringworm. He has an eye infection, requires dental work, and is missing fur because of mange.
Despite his terrible health, he has not allowed it to affect his gentle disposition. He enjoys being around people and gets along well with other dogs.
Although his prognosis is positive, the road to rehabilitation will be lengthy and costly. The rescue contacted the Emergency Animal Medical Fund of Greater Good Charities to help pay for his medical expenses.
