We visited the adoption facility at our neighborhood PetSmart and took a look at the various animals, including cats and dogs. When it came to the dogs, there was complete anarchy, with everyone barking or beginning to bark as soon as you approached the cage. All of them were examined, and their narratives were consumed by us. After that, there was she.
The bottom cage, peering out, not really looking at anything, not making a sound, and looking miserable are all characteristics of this.
Madison is the sign. Twelve years old. Not a charge for adoption.
Once we had finished looking around, we returned to her and began talking about the possibility of taking her home. Following our departure from the store, we returned a few hours later. The contents of her medical records were shocking. blindness, cancer, or hernia, and missing teeth are all possibilities. Considering the age of the animals, the pound and rescue organization was neither willing nor able to spend any money on tests. During our time together, we brought her into the “get to know you” area, where she remained seated on my husband’s knee. We promised that we would give it some thought.
We googled hernia and lymphoma and determined that we might be able to fix the hernia, but we would not be able to fix the lymphoma. However, we could provide her with some love and comfort. Again, we went back and brought her back to our house.
