The bullet that pierced Alice's heart and the bullet that broke her femur were both part of the several shots that were fired at her. Critically ill, she was transported to the clinic in an emergency situation.
In order to remove the bullets and treat her wounds, the adorable puppy was subjected to an emergency surgical procedure. She continues to be resilient in spite of the stress and anguish that she has been through, and she is currently taking antibiotics.
